Glad to share that we (KS Rubber Industries) were able to convert 215 metric ton of thrown away single use plastics into synthetic rubber sheets for footwear and bag-luggage industry during Jan 22-June 22 period.
With help from our supplier factory; various grades of plastic bags (LLDPE, LDPE, MDPE, HDPE) are sorted and made into fine granules for reuse as rubber sheets.
Approximately 108 million metric tons of CO2e per year are attributable to plastic production. Every kilogram of fossil-based plastic produced, there is between 1.7 and 3.5 kilograms of carbon dioxide released. We plan to exceed our current capacity and recycle more plastic bags coming days.
