Crumb rubber is a type of black colored powder that are made from discarded tyre, or other rubber types materials. Here in our facility, we collect discarded synthetic rubber sheets and natural rubber sheets from local footwear factory. Then shred them into little pieces by using 16 inch cutting machines.
Once they are cut into bead shape, then sent to another machine to give finishing. After that, we filter these powder and package it for reuse.
Discarded or Scrap Rubber
This synthetic rubber sheets are scrap from textile/garments factory. This little rubber sheets will be crushed by machine for reuse as reclaimed rubber
Footwear Insole
Following footwear insoles are made using synthetic rubber sheets. Mainly used in household/hotel rooms.
Rubber Carpet from Crumb
Carpets are widely used in cattle farm during winter and rainy seasons. To keep livestock animal from getting cold and wet.
Powder crumb is sent to rubber factories to reuse as raw materials along with natural rubber. If crumb is used then we can minimize the cost of using natural rubber from rubber trees. Reduce carbon emission, make impact to the environment.
Rubber crumb usage in Bangladesh has not grown yet. Where as in other part of the world, people recycle tyre crumb and use them as carpet and other meterials.
